I read with interest a previous thread on polishes and now prompted to source the suggested type. If anyone knows of a quality paint detailer in Sydney (preferably north side or proximity) would be appreciated as I am have a number of stone chips and other paint blemishes that need fixing. I know this is a not a commercial forum, however a direct email would be appreciated. Car is R R Silver Spirit 1981. I recognise that there often numerous garages that undertake paint re work finishing, a decent recommendation would be acceptable. Many thanks Alan

Alan,

I have had very good service from fellow RROCA[NSW] member David Peterson of Peterson's Smash Repairs, rear 22 Flora St, Kirrawee NSW 2232 ph 9545 1885 or 0429 966 323.

Whilst he is further away than your preferred northside location, you will find David is the right person to fix your problems at a reasonable cost

David
thanks, this is most helpful. As you say, whilst abit further away, a good recommendation is most worthy. Incidentally, I was given this name by another member.

Small chips. I'd just go to a hobby store, buy model cars anyway myself and built airplanes as well. The little bottles of enamel paint they sell, comes in almost every color. Plus its not think as auto touch up stuff. I then get an eye dropper and slowly fill in the chip.
