I've just been made aware of a moment in the Stanley Kubrick movie 'A Clockwork Orange' where the protagonist Alex is dumping his ill-gotten gains into a drawer. Amongst the money and watches in the drawer are two RR mascots.

I'm guessing they're from a 20HP and a Silver Shadow but I'm almost certainly wrong.

Wow! Eagle eye!

So that's the 'oik who stole my gold mascot; I'm going to write to Stanley R to get it back. (not that I'm a fan of the gold TBH; it's been replaced with a standard silver (nickel) one.

I’ve never seen the movie,
Is it along the same weird lines as 2001?

I wonder if our friend Vladimir Kirillov has seen this film. He has watched every strange film under the sun....

You'll be missing out on one of the greats, then.

It is a challenging movie but well worth the trouble. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission!

Jeff, I envy you if you've never seen this, it's one of the greatest "just desert's" movie ever !

It will give all new meaning to Beethoven's 9th and Rossini's "The Thieving Magpie" (La Gazza Ladra)

And it's not the same at all as 2001, 2001 was kind of flakey, or at least I thought it was, even boring in many places.
Clock Work has a story and purpose _ it makes sense.
For 1971, it's pretty riskay, even by todays standards, or lack there of.

I will try and catch it after an “Alien” movie fest, starting with the original 1979 Ridley Scott movie.

I am really trying to understand the story of this movie line.
Every time I watch one of the movies, I pick something else up.

Quite tough to get ones head around.
