I've just been made aware of a moment in the Stanley Kubrick movie 'A Clockwork Orange' where the protagonist Alex is dumping his ill-gotten gains into a drawer. Amongst the money and watches in the drawer are two RR mascots.
I'm guessing they're from a 20HP and a Silver Shadow but I'm almost certainly wrong. | |||

You'll be missing out on one of the greats, then. It is a challenging movie but well worth the trouble. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission! | |||

And it's not the same at all as 2001, 2001 was kind of flakey, or at least I thought it was, even boring in many places. Clock Work has a story and purpose _ it makes sense. For 1971, it's pretty riskay, even by todays standards, or lack there of. | |||

I will try and catch it after an “Alien” movie fest, starting with the original 1979 Ridley Scott movie. I am really trying to understand the story of this movie line. Every time I watch one of the movies, I pick something else up. Quite tough to get ones head around. |
