Hi All, I want to re-new the oil in the power hood hydraulics, I have a list of oils which stated in owners manuals such as gargoyle artic, lorco 6659 ,castrol icematic 66, and shell clauus 27 but these are for air conditioning as far as I am told?? can I use any air conditioning oil or does it have to be one of these? Thankyou |

Rodney, The mechanism is a simple hydraulic pump and ram system and any non-glycol hydraulic fluid will be fine. I used Dexron automatic transmission fluid for DRH14434. Power steering fluid is another alternative. |
