Can anyone advise me as to whether the Alternater,regulator or battery etc should be disconnected before MIG welding on the car.I need to weld the sleeve in the front silencer coupling.Would prefer to mig this rather than gas or braze it. Thanks Mark |

Definately disconnect the battery on any car when you are doing any form of electric welding on it. |
