I am having dificulty finding conrod bearings for a 1947 Bentley 4.25 engine. I need 040" bearings. they are NLA at at all the suppliers. I can't get anyone to weld up the crank. Would anyone on the forum have any idea's where i could try?The chassiss number is B171BG. |

If your crank is in such bad shape that you need .040 thou over, you may want to find a better crank. If the damper was so sludged up where it wasn't working, that can bend the crank, so it may have fractures in it. Over heating can ruin a ruin a crank beyond practical repair. |

Martin, If you have look, they are the main bearings. So listed by Introcar O/S. Nick need a replacement crankshaft.

The main bearings are available ,but 040" bigends are hens teeth, unfortunatly. |
