I’m not certain what local is to you Theo, but Stafford Vehicle Components in the UK sell both equal and unequal twin pin sockets as per the original components. They are approximately £25. They can be contacted on +44 (0) 1684 219863.

Theo,

Does it have round or flat male pins?

The low voltage [12V] plugs and sockets are usually available from electronics outlets such as Jaycar - just search using "power plug" as the description.

Hi Martin. I’m in sunny Sydney (Australia). David has set me straight as usual. I’ll nip out to the local super cheap auto or jaycar in good time.

I can’t get to the ignition switches right now as the car is lying in state right now. Resurrection is at hand. See other posts.

This is as close to the dash as I can get at of yesterday:
