Oh no Mike, Australia does not have a Department of War, it has a Department of Defence. Just what it thought it was doing in Iraq and Afghanistan has now been proven pretty nutty. Both Iraq and Afghanistan had no intention of invading Australia oh apart from with Weapons of Mass Destruction which were never found. Seems like.....camel bum wind again. | ||

Defense then usually equals war then, hence Dept. of war. (But you are right they call it the Dept. of Defense, usually.) War in Iraq and Afghanistan equals we want your oil and revenge for daddy (Bush). Dick Cheney, Pres. Bush started this action with friend of Bush, Osama bin Laden. Cheney outlined what he was going to do to make the military strong again in a treatise entitled Rebuilding America's Defences. Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, was set on US world dominance and orchestrated the 9/11 attacks as an excuse to hit Iraq, Afghanistan and later Iran. In September 2000 the PNAC released a strategic treatise entitled Rebuilding America's Defences. On 9-11-2001 they executed that plan. They all knew it was coming and that planes had been hijacked and Pres Bush calmly went to an elementary school to read to children. A known location at a time of escalating war like events unfolding. Bush sat in his limo for an hour listening to these events before he went into the school room. (So the theory goes.) |
