Since I retired me and 3 mates have got a music band together

We are not bad because the neighbours threw bricks through the windows so they could hear us better

We got invited to music festival

We went to see the promoter and an indie goth band saw my black shadow and said the car is so gothic and if Dracula drove a car that's what he would drive

We not playing at festival because
the promoter wants us to play grandad rock where as we play Mozart and alike

Bob

I enjoy your posts. One thing puzzles me - why don't you register?

Geoff,

Bob has registered many years ago but has the problem common to those of us who are entering the golden years of our life where our memory is not as reliable as it was when we were younger.

He has merely forgotten his password and does not need to remedy the situation as I am more than happy to facilitate his knowledge and fascinating observations being shared with us.

Thank you for the compliment

The brick joke is stolen from les Dawson

Music to me is fun I like classical music because its easy to play

I have been teaching one of my grandsons to play the William tell overture on one string of a guitar
He really gets in the groove and starts to swing the beat

I took him to see an 80 piece band rehearsal and they played the William tell for him and the Carmen overture the bottom end and midrange and dynamics is like a Big old lazy V8

The conductor signals for power they come on song

The hairs on the back of neck stood up My grandson [12] was amazed

Recorded music just does not have that X factor
