It is with deep sorrow that I report the passing of Paul Stokes. Paul suffered a severe aneurysm and despite all efforts to save him, he succumbed early this morning. Our President, Neil Matthews, greeted Victorian members with this shocking news at the commencement of our monthly meeting this evening. Paul has been a devoted member of the Victorian Branch for close to thirty years and was joint Membership Secretary with his wife, Marilyn. Paul contributed tirelessly to the club over the years and he will be sadly missed. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his widow, Marilyn at his sudden and completely unexpected passing. He was only sixty-six. His funeral will be conducted at St. Johns Anglican Church in Toorak next Wednesday 17th. May.
