Hi Patrick, Came across this one, Holden bodied by Mr RF Holden!
Was this the company founder or any relation?
Thanks.

Hi Patrick,

Now that is a nice Roadster.
Love the shape & colour.

Yes mate, it could be, however it would have to have been bodied here in Australia.

Holden was purchased by GM in 1931.
But was known as JA Holden & EH Holden before 1931.
The RF is unusual.

Is there a badge or an image of the body builder pllate?

Patrick have today had a look at the car.
The chassis plate found on drivers seat base reads S79--.

Cannot find the body makers plate but I am pretty
sure it is Holden.

I think maybe the past Holden owner is not related.

A few more pix of the 1929 Chevrolet.

Steering wheel centre has the S logo.
Throttle pedal in the middle!

Rumble seat in the boot!
Steps on bumper and wing to help with the access of the seats.

How simple is the shock adjustment, on the rebound I presume, never seen that type of setup.

That's a lovely car Patrick.
The colour is awesome, and the interior is great.

Did you purchase it?

The shock is simple,

Not quite as simple as mine, the 25's don't have any!

Hi Patrick,
This model is an AC International, which was built in 1929 and was the first 6 cylinder Chevrolet, that replaced the 1928 AB National.
It was $10 extra over the outgoing 4 cylinder model.

The next model is the AD Universal.
It was start of production in 1930, it incorporated some modifications to the engine to increase horsepower, had front shocks fitted and some other mods as well.
