HYDRAULICALLY SUSPENDED MOTOR CARS –MYTHS, LEGENDS AND REALITY [OR BRITISH ENGINEERING EXPERTISE APPLIED TO A FRENCH INVENTION] The NSW Branches of the Rolls-Royce Owners Club and the Citroen Car Club have organised a joint technical session on the hydraulic systems used in our respective cars. The session will comprise a presentation on the history, development and applications of the Citroen systems that are the basis for the Rolls-Royce adaptations followed by a presentation on the Rolls-Royce systems. These presentations will be followed by a Question & Answer session where shared experiences, problems and solutions will be discussed. After the presentations, a range of different cars from each marque will be made available for detailed examination of the respective systems. The day will conclude with a joint cavalcade of cars to a suitable park/open area for refreshments and the opportunity to ride/drive each others cars. Prebooking for this event is not required however to assist with catering, it would be appreciated if you could advise the organiser if you intend participating. Date: 22nd November 2003 Venue: Motor Works Botany 43 Cranbrook Street BOTANY NSW Time: 10.00AM – 3.00PM Cost: $10 per person paid on admission Catering: Bar-b-que Lunch will be provided.
