I’m wanting to buy various body hardware bits for Silver Wraith WDC59, H J Mulliner, design 7062.
I bought to save it from being scrapped. It is in very poor condition and many body parts missing. The body and frame are sound and almost mechanically complete and should be ‘drivable’ next week. No one seems to know what became of the parts. Either stripped for restoration and separated or robbed for another car.
It’s missing the glass, except for the driver’s door, headlight mounts, window mechanisms, rear doors are empty shells, even the window frames gone. Hopefully somewhere in Australia are the remains of a similar body to replace the missing bits. The intent is to fabricate replacements to keep it usable as a driver until the next owner. |
