Graham,

You might have to import one from the UK - I assume your vehicle has the 85amp CAV alternator.

These alternators were often installed in trucks and an auto electrician who services trucks might be able to get a second hand fan for you.

Good call David.

Dodge D3F cab overs with petrol or Perkins diesel ran these.
Pretty much all Leyland trucks ran these also.
Some, but not all Ford D series cab over with slant 6 also.

Unfortunately the D series Ford a little later turned into a Ford Cargo, which was a re badged Italian truck, thus 24v.

Early Ford trucks were good trucks, the later ones were just heaps a crap when Ford wanted out of trucks.

Thanks for the information guys, will look into it.

And yes, Camilla has the CAV alternator, it was tony's workshop alternator he used to diagnose electrical issues with. When Camilla was having her charging issue it was the only one that worked in her.
