Apparently mine is leaking! Is it worthwile to repair or possible to purchase a reconditioned unit

Get new one for $800 as most of the reconditioned units are really half dead and based on old technology. If it is an old unit the fittings for the gas will have to be changed as the previous gas was bad for the ozone layer (too many CFC).It is illegal for them to regas with the old gas type. Just about every auto electrician is capable of done the job.
