Main Bearings for Silver Cloud 1

Author Message   David Jones Posted on Monday, 11 June, 2001 - 21:57:    We are in the process of a full engine rebuild and need a full set of standard main bearings and big end bearings to suit my Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1. If anyone has a new set of the above,or knows of any suitable alternative your help would be very wlcome. As I recall, the price is different for different undersizes, and maybe standard isn't available at all. (Need to ask them.) It would probably be worth your while to grind the crank anyway, just to get it all set up exactly right. Overhaul costs a bunch and it is a lot of work to tear it all down, so doing everything right while you are in there is the only way to go. (my opinion) Ristes Motor Co.
