In 1939 Hitler was looking for a new Rolls-Royce because Goring had one. On 1st of September Hilter found the only New Phantom in Germany and tried to acquire the car only to find that Rolls-Royce Ltd had sent the car on a 300 mile dash to the Polish Border. So Hilter ordered some Panzers to give chase. It takes one man one week to make a Rolls-Royce radiator, --------- others workers make one a day.

This is true. During the WW1 the Prince of Wales was being driven in a 40/50 Hp Rolls-Royce when unfortunately the car got shot up and the driver killed so he took over and drove out of danger. So impressed was he with the car that he order a new one for home use, and this was the start of the Royal Family and the Rolls-Royce connection. Another 40/50 was lent to a British army staff officer who drove it for 50,000 miles in appalling conditions (WW1) and when it was returned there was not a panel that did not have a bullet hole, but the car still ran fine so the owner had a new body fitted and carried on using the car as normal.

I guess so. A woman in Jersey phoned RR that she was worried that the Nazis would, when they invaded Jersey get hold of her 20/25 hp RR So these two blokes from RR wearing brown coats went to the Island and disasembled the car and hid the bits in a barn. In 1945 the British Army landed in Jersey with two blokes in brown coats
