Has anyone come across the problem of the rod in a visor twisting and breaking? The drivers' side has broken, and it feels like the passenger side is ready to go. It appears that the foam inside has melted onto the rod and stopped it from operating. I bought some replacements from the same reputable place in Western Australia, but they are far thicker than from my '73 Shadow. I'm hoping to be able to take out the rods from the 'replacements' and put them into the old ones. Any thoughts out there? Thanks for any help. |
