Since I know that this forum has an international readership, and I've seen many refer people to Hilborn over the years, I thought I'd let folks know that I stumbled over a "we're closing" notification on the home page of Hilborn Motor Car Interiors. The letter is not dated, nor is the specific closing date given, so this might be "old news" but it wasn't to me. The most pertinent bit from the letter: "After 93 years of servicing the automotive upholstery industry we will be closing our doors." Brian | ||

Thanks Brian, I am certain there will be participants/visitors to this forum who have had an association/contact with this specialist R-R/B service over the years. It is regrettable they have not been able to pass on their business to a new owner to continue their tradition. | ||

There was some back and forth on the RROC website about it and I am afraid to say that it may be true. No responses from the parties on the website at Hilborn. A phone# and email address were provided although I suspect that housekeeping had not been done to avoid confusion. |
