www.rrtechnical.info is working. It has been on a new server since May 2 2024, before the May 5 cutoff from the previous server. Login is unchanged. There may have been an issue with the migration, but that has been solved. I shall make some updates to the site along the way.

Wonderful! Material from rrtechnical.info "saved my bacon" on more occasions than I can count.

Richard, if you can manage to use your charms and connections to get Bentley to finally officially put IETIS for the SZ and Seraph/Arnage era cars "into the public domain" as they did for the hard copy material, that would be of immense service to the community at this point. That may, however, be an impossible task, but worth mentioning. Even if they did it on the Bentley Heritage Site only.

Michael, everyone is getting this:

Site Acct Suspended

and it indicates that whoever holds the account where rrtechnical.info was hosted has had that account suspended. It could be in error, for sure, but it's got nothing to do with you (or me, or anyone trying to access rrtechnical.info).

"Account Suspended" usually suggests that a website hosting bill hasn't been paid.

As the RR Technical website is wholly owned and operated by Richard Treacy, all enquiries about it should be addressed to him.

This forum is not now - nor has it ever been - directly associated with the site so we cannot offer any assistance at all with regard to it.

Any suggestion on how one might do that? He hasn't been seen in these parts for some years now. The only email address I have that might work is the one for his business: sales@spurparts.com.au.

If there's a better address, please share.

P.S. to All Readers: EVERYONE is going to be getting the message and screen I posted when trying to access rrtechnical.info until the issue is resolved by the site owner (Richard Treacy) with the hosting company. Until and unless he does, rrtechnical.info is offline.

Addendum: I have sent an email message, including screenshot, to the email address sales@spurparts.com.au.

I presume this is still being monitored as the website for the business is still up and running.

Martin,

I don't know how I can be any more clear than I already have been, and which was reinforced by RR Forums Administrator:

EVERYONE is getting this message. It has nothing whatsoever to do with us who are trying to access the rrtechnical.info page. And the explanation offered by RR Forums Administrator is the most likely reason that the hosting account is, at the moment, suspended. That can only be fixed by the person who owns the rrtechnical.info domain.

I have done what I know how to do in order to make Richard Treacy aware of the situation. The next moves are his.

I also have been trying to contact Richard Treacy without success.

My last contacts with him some time ago were through an European email address which is no longer accessible and a subsequent visit to the original Spur Parts business in Alexandria which was unsuccessful as he was not present and the staff member there could not or would not give me any details of his location and contact details.

I will be in Sydney for a few weeks from today and will see if Spur Parts are still in business and if they have current contact information for Richard.

We have been in contact with the server provider to fix this. Unfortunately as it is Easter and Australia is closed for four days, the site will not be restored till after Easter.
My email address is still valid and my business is still based in Alexandria.

We are back at work in Sydney after our four day Easter break and sorted this out first thing today. I can always be contacted at sales@spurparts.com.au or by phone. The CD or hard drive backups will not work properly when the host site is unavailable for any reason.

I built rrtechnical from scratch, after obtaining permission from Bentley at Crewe to use the copyright information.
