Can anyone assist me with an explanation of the wording "EBONY BLACK LIGHT VE $109" in the payment details of my NSW rego renewal? Many thanks |

Thanks Evan. Any idea of the meaning of the actual words? I cant see how it applies to the car or the plates. Theres nothing I would describe ad Ebony Black Light VE. Does it mean the plates are somehow special? The plates are White on Black but I dont recall seeing those words on previous renewal paperwork. I'm none the wiser. |

Is it a contraction of "Ebony Black Light Vehicle" for your vehicle because it is a rare or less-common vehicle not included in the NSW RTA brand and model database? |

The plate background is Ebony Black and it's a number plate for a light vehicle |
