A local auction has this Rolls Royce radiator grill for sale. Does anyone know what type of car this could be from and what would be an acceptable price to pay ? Benoit

Hi Richard, it will indeed be pre-1933 as it sports the red badge. The dimensions are +/- 80cm x 60cm x17cm. Benoit |

The RED BADGE method of dating is a fallacy. They used to paint the RR letters any old colour the customer asked for . Eventually it was made black for all but has nothing to do with Royce's death. |

Keith the Red badge changed to Black in 1933 as stated by Benoit in his post above, The colour change itself was made by Sir Henry himself so therefore nothing to do with his death. Richard. |
