The latest edition of 'The Spirit' has the most fantastic car on the cover and a wonderful article inside on the same car. It is MINE! To be honest, the entire magazine is well worth the asking price to be a member of the RREC as Richard does a superb job and turns out a simply brilliant magazine which is full of information about the good old SZ series. So join up if you haven't already or get your wallet out as you can buy copies from RREC direct even if not a member. Just thought I'd show off/brag/blow trumpets etc, feel free to ignore me |

Flippin' 'eck! I did it! This is not the finished copy but very close as this was a 'trial' version. My friend who took the pictures for an article in a photography magazine is Mark Frost and an absolutely fantastic taker of 'snaps' though if I told him he took 'snaps' I would be devoid of several important items of bodily appendage! |

David, If it was anyone else I would think they photoshopped the image. |

Ross, it sort of is. It's a composite shot of about 7 - 8 others all lit by in different ways and then put together in a clever program. The pictures were originally taken for a feature in a photography magazine as a tutorial/guide. So, it's not a photoshop, but it is clever picture taking. |

David, I read the article and gazed longingly at the pictures. What a lovely and wonderful car. You have outdone yourself. Bravo sir! Mark (Who's Turbo R will never be as nice) |

Well thank you mightily young and handsome Mark, Your car could be just as nice (if not far better) if you just throw the equivalent of the gross national product of a small African nation at the damn thing! Seriously I have spent so much money on this car, a truly ridiculous amount, that it should be nice! It still has faults, just not that many any more Faults: 3 tiny bits of corrosion on the drivers side doors (biggest size of a finger nail clipping... if you have short nails) not sure the viscous fan coupling is working properly - never over-heats but gauge sits higher than I like, wood inside is beginning to 'go' in places but it does run well (touch wood) and looks great and everything is up to date. |

It looks like a lovely motor car and magazine....if only my copy would arrive. Does any other Australian based members have the same problem? I got my Ghost magazine about 3 weeks ago....but the SZ, as with the last 2 editions never seems to come easily, I have to email the office and ask them to send it again. Regards, Brian. |
