Gents, My wife & I had the pleasure to attend the RROC Federal Rally which was held last weekend in our nations capital of Canberra. The weather was very kind which was good. I was lucky enough to be made an apprentice judge on the Saturday morning in a factory unit at a place called Hume. I was placed in a group of gents that are just outstanding in their knowledge of all things Rolls Royce & Bentley. The guys were very happy to share their knowledge with me, thanks chaps. I did learn plenty, which is always great. Here are some images of the judging. The Sunday was our display day, and started off a little wet. We attended the customary Dawn Patrol at 6:30am and headed to the lookout for some coffee & breakfast. What a meal we had supplied by the gents from the Vietnam Veterans. We arrived to the grounds of the National Library overlooking Lake Burley Griffin. What a lovely spot to spend the afternoon. We were very lucky to be graced with the presence of five Phantom III's. I've never really seen one up close, let alone under the bonnet. Please enjoy some images. Please enjoy some more images from our display day in Canberra. I copped a rather bad (and wet) bird crap straight over the bonnet of SRH12255. As I was cleaning I failed to notice a local news guy filming. It made it onto the news that night. This ex demo 2015 Phantom was for sale. Asking price $999,888.00 Oh, And I had some awesome pizza for dinner. I will leave the best till last. Here is a shot JUST for Vlad. Enjoy mate.

Patrick and Mark, Wow. What a great day that must have been. The only problem is that I think I need a single light Bentley now. Thanks |

Ross, I thought you may have been a Phantom V driver. I could just see one of those driving around the farm with sheep in the massive rear passenger area. Yes Ross, It was a great day, the cars looked fantastic, everyone did a great job in getting them to look their best for the day. |
