Hello,

As I understand, from 1970, cars sold new in Australia were fitted with a compliance plate. Nowadays, this is important in South Australia - a car so fitted can be registered here with only an identity inspection. Post 70 without a plate, a full inspection is required.

Was York Motots known for omitting them in the early 70s? I've now seen two without. Can one be obtained retrospectively ?
