Just saw this one. Again local to me if anyone is interested in it. Happy to go check it out. Lack of info & pics is just poor on the sellers part. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BENTLEY-1967-T1-/272500294881?hash=item3f724884e1:g:kn8AAOSwo4pYQOw0 |

Looks really good in the pictures, sitting up nicely on the suspension too. |

Seems to me buying an Australian car would be a great option for anyone living in the UK. As we all know, Australian cars are RHD which fits with the UK. A huge plus point is an Australian car is likely to be much less damaged by rust as the climate is much kinder. Also a good exchange rate (even now) makes Australian cars very affordable. The shipping cost is 2200 ukp for a Rolls Silver Shadow. Additional costs push that up to 3k. So the $14k car advertised would be around 12k GBP, including all costs. Quite a viable option for a RHD rust free Rolls. Geoff |

I note that this car has a soft sunshine roof, would this be factory or has it been added later? I find it hard to believe that RR would fit anything other than a hard sliding roof, any thoughts on this? |

Hey Pat, Going by that engine bay and the "ye olde English rust", I'd say that old girl will be relisted a few more times yet, hehe. The Bentley is a much nicer bet. Love those Chippendale dashes. Sydney and Melbourne def enjoy better choices. In the 15 months I've been cruising in my Shadow, I've only seen 2 other Crewe cars on the highways in QLD- unbelievably scarce. |

Hi Nick, Yes that Shadow is about $8k to much. The Holley is a standout for me!! The T1 looks really nice. You're right Nick, I have only seen a couple of Shadows & T's here in NSW as well in the years I've had mine. I only see them on club event days. |
