Hmmm, don't like the idea of setting bearing preload without a DTI or tightening a hub without a torque wrench, when the settings are specified in the manual. Mark |

Great insight to see how these cars are put together Mike. Some of the videos are great sources of interest for some people who are familiar with more common make systems, but weren't to sure on the RR hardware. I agree with Mark though. I also noticed a real lack of grease on the bearing. I have even surface ground a hub nut to get that castellation in exactly the right place I want it, not where the thing wants to fit. |
