Hi.I was watching Youtube the other day and came across a clip about waterless coolant.Has anyone tried this product?.Its quite expensive but they recon it will last the life of the motor, can be recycled, stop boiling over and reduce the pressure in the cooling system. cheers |

I used a version of this coolant in my Moggy Thou Traveller back in the 70's. Unfortunately it found a leaky heater valve that hadn't leaked before so I never used it again. SRH24518 has exactly the same problem - but only while the valve is in motion. At each end of its travel it stops leaking again. Toyota have produced their own variant for years. It's called 'Toyota Red' for its colour. Although ostensibly waterless it actually uses de-ionised water as part of its makeup. |
