Is there a generic name for a seal that has the composition and cross-sectional shape shown here?:

Sorry All,

I thought I'd done my homework on this bit in the past, but clearly didn't.

Just a bit of quick research shows it's a wiper seal, probably press-in type.

It looks like a lip seal for a sliding shaft as opposed to rotating.
Take it to engineering bearing supplies local shop.
