Is it expected that there will be a difference in recorded milage between the analoge mileage and the digital/LED milage/trip indicator ?, I suspect that they would drift apart with increased milage i.e. ~44000 there is about 180 miles difference.

Be good if somebody could confirm

Yes, they are always slightly different.
