Recall Details
Concern : POSSIBLE FOULING OF HYDRAULIC PIPES
Description : A potential foul condition can occur between the intermediate steering column coupling bolts and the brake and levelling system pipes located on the left hand longeron. Should the pipes wear through as a consequence of this contact it will cause loss of hydraulic pressure and result in reduced braking performance.
Remedial Action : The affected vehicles are being recalled to have the clearance between the pipes and coupling bolts checked. Where required the pipes will be adjusted to establish the clearance specified by the manufacturer. Any pipes which show evidence of contact with the coupling bolts will be replaced.
