The "survivals" data seems innaccurate: Apparently only 35.4% of Turbo R's have survived, and 98.8% on Mulsanne Turbos have survived, with only 6 ever having been scrapped in the universe! Flying Spares currently have 6 Mulsanne Turbos awaiting dismantling. | ||

Some time ago a Mulsanne engine was offered for sale in Spain, and that makes for another one. If that survival ratio is right then it's alarming the turbo r's survival rate is so low. Hope these figures are wrong Regards, Robert (Message edited by robertofollia on 08 August 2007) | ||

Sorry to be depressing . . . I've got two in for "recycling". Recycling . . . Maybe that's why the scrapped figure is so low??? To be fair on the cars, although the engines would not run smoothly because of the carbs - the engines seemed fine and both drove under their own steam. Body work . . . now that's another matter! Maybe the owners were spending so much on repairs , they couldn't afford to keep up with the bodywork? |
