Looking at replacing the front end compliance bushings. Have the parts just looking in at the job. It appears as if they are removed with weight on the tires so the post goes through the bushing evenly. Manual just says to unbolt them and replace the bushing. 1 large rod nut and 2 small bolts holding the bushing in. Can it be that simple on a Rolls? 1986 RR Spirit 14,XXX |

To close this thread out I replaced the left bushing and it was an easy job. Jack it up and leave the wheel hang. Remove the large rear nut and washer, 2 smaller nuts and bolts and the bushing comes out with a little persuasion. Going back in is also easy with a little persuasion. Tighten the bolts and nut and job done. NOW, the right side will entail removing the starter first before the bushing can be removed. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you start this job. |
