Mercedessource.com (also on utube) has developed a pressure tester for the 1976 to 1993 Bosch fuel injection. A couple of options are available.

I bought the "Builders kit" for less than $100 USD.

If you know anything about Bosch fuel injection you know you can't fix anything that seems wrong with it without checking the various fuel pressures.
