Can Anyone Verify a Part Number?

Author Message   Cliff Biggs Experienced User Username: cliffy Post Number: 168 Registered: 09-2021 Posted on Sunday, 09 February, 2025 - 11:14:    Just thinking ahead to an issue I'm working and thinking it might be the thermo-time switch on the thermostat housing. It seems the red/white wire run is shorted to ground and I have to disconnect this time switch next to verify it is shorted BUT if it is I'll need another one. In researching spare parts I see this switch is used on BMWs and Porsche 914s with the Bosch fuel injection p/ns Bosch # 0280130219 BMW # 13621274631 Just wondering if anyone has ever cross referenced or used the cross reference part? In actually were I live I could just bypass it and not really have an issue
