In the February edition of the RREC magazine Spirit & Speed, on page 26, reference is made to a fusable link fitted to 1990 cars that, in the event of failure, renders the car without any electrics whatsoever.

It appears that the link "lurks deep down" and is not accessible at the roadside with access requiring a ramp.

I have looked at the circuit diagram, copy attached, and can see no (fusable?) link in the diagram.
Can anyone advise where the link is located on the car, please.

As our car is 1990 I would like to indulge in a bit of preventative maintenance.
Many thanks,

Regards,

Darryl
