For several years, I "jury rigged" the driver's seat motor casing (with zip ties to hold it together) on my 81 Spur! Finally, the casing became so brittle, the seat stopped working/moving.

Last week, I found a casing on EBay that is for the GM vehicles of the 80s. I fitted it this week on the Spur. It was a 99% perfect fit. I only had to use a drill bit to slightly enlarge the 3 holes where the cables enter the casing! The casing was only $95.00 INSTEAD of the $350+ other companies are charging! Here's the link (10.2022):

Hope this helps others who want a perfectly working seat for a small investment!

Richard
