The market is probably too small but I wonder with all the leaking steering racks we see if anyone has ever looked into replacing them with an American rack? It would take some effort to find the right one and maybe modify it to fit but we don't seem to have the same leaking issues with American steering racks.
Might be an interesting engineering exercise.
