Mike, Awesome! Could you share where you got the capacitors (and part #s)? I will definitely try the repair as the cruise on my 89 Turbo R works sometimes! I also could repair my Mercedes cruise boxes. Any personal notes you could share on your repair? Again, thanks for sharing! Richard |

Small orders of electronic components can be purchased from Digikey, Newark Electronics and Allied in the US and probably more. |

Hi all The capacitors you need are 2x 22uF ,2x 10uF and 2x 2.2uF , I bought an assortment from ebay abut £3 item number 125198301871.I'll post a pic of the old ones. The box is fitted above the throttle pedal behind the fog light switch. I thought my solder joints were fine but just reflowing them fixed it, just touch with a fine solder iron until just molten, took me about 45 mins . hope this helps Mike |
