Hi, Gentlemen, would anyone know if the boot lid can be adjusted to give it a bit more tension, currently barely holding and dangerous for the head. |

If there are two torsion bars maybe one is snapped??? Alan D. |

Hi Paul Don't think there is any adjustment. I fitted gas struts like later model but they pushed the lid out of alignment. They are hopeless. |

Thank you guy's The torsion bars are not broken but they barley hold the boot lid up, I didn't think there was any adjustment, it is the same system as a Holden statesman, but only the Holden one works LOL... Another poor design. |
