Hi, Gentlemen, would anyone know if the boot lid can be adjusted to give it a bit more tension, currently barely holding and dangerous for the head.

If there are two torsion bars maybe one is snapped???

Hi Paul
Don't think there is any adjustment.
I fitted gas struts like later model but they pushed the lid out of alignment.
They are hopeless.

Thank you guy's The torsion bars are not broken but they barley hold the boot lid up, I didn't think there was any adjustment, it is the same system as a Holden statesman, but only the Holden one works LOL... Another poor design.
