Does anybody know if or how to change the display from Fahrenheit to Celsius ? May be by an internal pin option ? The „C“ symbol can be seen below the „F“ but will not lit. Hard to believe that VDO had produced to versions of the display.

That's a bit weird. My Spirit is 1984 and within a few numbers from your Spur (09680), and I have a 4-in-1 Jaeger instrument - TDC is charging rate, then clockwise is the engine temperature. fuel gauge. and engine oil pressure. None are scaled in figures, just a white 'OK' quadrant or quarter, half and three quarters for the fuel gauge (which also acts as an engine oil gauge). I can check all 4 in an instant by where the needles are.

Moderator Stuff-up:

Thomas, my apologies for accidentally deleting your post content while editing to relocate your image and text. I have no idea what has occurred as I routinely do this to improve viewability.

Would you please repost completely and insert a double enter keystroke between the text and IMAGE command to separate them.

Thanks David

Thomas my Spirit is an earlier car than yours but its possible that the information you seek is somewhere in your owners manual.

In any case I think Paul Yorke on this forum could know so search his name and then send him a private message.
