The 20 Amp ignition fuse seems to be going bad after about three hours. It gets very warm and goes bad. Not a short circuit but just opens. Wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. The fuse goes into the block with normal resistance but of course there still could be corrosion in the contacts. Also not related...with the key removed the window still operate. Probably other items as well. Thanks for any help.

Hook an ammeter in series with your fuse, it may be your fuel pump failing or the intake or recirculating stystem blocked if you have no other issues. There is not too many other things that cause that sort of slow failure.
