Hello, Although I have visited this forum on numerous occasions this is my first post - (another RRBEW refugee). Mulsanne S 1990 chassis 32556. Both of the ABS relays located in the boot keep clicking when the car is in motion even if the brakes aren’t operated. If one relay is removed the other still “clicks” The relays are items 38 (modulator relay) & 42 (antilock braking system relay) in the service manual (TSD6000). The abs gears/teeth on the rotor were cleaned within the last 5 to 6 years. When I action the “ABS Blink Code” diagnosis* the ABS and Check Engine light illuminate but no Blink Codes nor fault appears in the display. Any suggestions on how to precede appreciated. Regards * Ignition to lock. Press & hold Trip & Cancel buttons. Ignition to run. Throttle pedal to maximum 5 times within 5 seconds. ABS and Check Engine light illuminate. Relase buttons. Blink code followed by message. |

Before doing anything else check the rotor teeth and sensors. 6 years is plenty of tme for something to have happened down there in the hostile enviroment of the brakes. Heat, dust, and road dirt. If a sensor is unplugged on purpose then the fault system should work |
