I suspect that my thermostat is stuck in the open position. Other than removing it, am I right to assume that the way to check this is that the upper hose will warm up immediately after starting the engine? |

The top hose will get mildly warm as the engine heats up, and when the thermostat opens it will suddenly get too hot to hold. |
