My '81 Mulsanne, which has been running well, has now decided not to start. Reason - no spark. Good low tension to coil - no high tension output while trying to start. HOWEVER! When the key is turned to the "OFF" position the coil gived one spark from the main {centre} lead. Coil tests out OK - Any ideas??

Blind guess is all I can offer, without hands on diagnostic. Bad cam position sensor or bad crank position sensor. Other causes are possible. Have a great day.
