Evening all, I've recently acquired an 86 RR which needs a little TLC. One thing is that the backing plate on the door lock has parted company --thus the courtesy lights aren't actuated when the door opens. I'm having the devil of a time pulling bits out of the door . Is there a MAGIC solution to this problem OR do I need to hire an octopus?? R NUT | ||

Re the above...... I have the manuals both hard copy and CD. Nowhere can I find a drawing of the parts that are in this car 14868. Is there a repository of drawings, schematics,instructions --- for these cars where manufacture seems to have changed every few cars.. any ideas would be welcome Stan | ||
