Hi, What an excellent forum !
Can anyonr tell me where to adjust the mixture on twin SU's on a UK model 1982 RR Silver Spirit. I saw an engineer once do it and he seemed to adjust one screw somewhere beneath the wiper drive covering, to the windscreen side of the carbs. Yet I cannot see where it is and the car is running a bit weak.

Purchase the SU carb rebuild manual.

I would have your ignition system checked.
A failing ignition system gives weak starting and performance.
