Hi, I am considering the above car, SHR9391; a photo of the under-hood shows the silver-colored device mounted on top of the spring tower, which I have associated with the front self-levelling system. I thought this was no longer used in 1970.Advice?

Around chassis number 11400 is when they swapped to long stroke dampers.

Almost certainly the hydraulics to the front will have already been deleted.

If you need dampers in the future go for long stroke and get a pair of used top plates.
