Hi All! After taking our 1976 Shadow for a drive, the following night I was checking our idle issue and I noticed the air diverter valve was discharging quite a large amount of air. I checked the one way valves and they were good, but I replaced them just to be safe. The smog pump was a bit noisy, so I changed that as well. The diverter valve is still discharging out of the norm but I cannot seem to locate one nearby. Appears as though Rolls Royce has a few in stock, but of course, they're pretty costly. The part is AC Delco, but I cannot seem locate the original part. Have any of your experienced this problem and if so, were you able to remedy? Thank you all very much for your help, your professionalism and expertise is dearly appreciated! |

Hi Dale, sorry, I don't have any part numbers but I'm sure if you took one to a AC Delco / GM parts supplier, they should recognise it. If you don't have any luck - I'll take a look at some of my old stock - I'm sure I have some complete kits somewhere. |

Hi Paul, Thank you very, very much! I truly appreciate the offer and assistance. I was checking your technical section (which, by the way, is wonderful!) and found that it may be an electrical issue or perhaps a small vacuum leak leading to the solenoid mounted directly above it. Thank you so much Paul! |
