On my 1971 Shadow, I have no outside lights (taillights, front parking lights, side lights and license plate lights)! The fuse is good. I did not see any posts with this "rare" problem! Any help appreciated! Richard |

Yes, I have 12.5 volts on both sides of the fuse. |

The circuit diagram is worth studying here. A possible cause is faulty wiring at the split parking switch.

Hello Richard, The reason for this problem is probably the diodes that are damaged. You can see them in the centre of the above diagram. They are difficult to find on the cars because they are in the harness, hidden by black tape. You have to feel the harness to find them! In general you will find them about at the level of the gearbox tunnel, more or less in the corner of the front central ashtray for cars that have a central console. If the R-R were simpler they would not be so complicated... Best regards, Marc |
