I will be installing a mirror backup camera on my 78 Shadow II. Would anyone know where I would find the wire(s) (and the color) that goes from inside the car to the rear reverse lights? Would I have to tap in at the gear selector at the steering wheel? Any guidance to save some frustration would be much appreciated! THANKS! Richard | ||

Dear Richard, You are better off using the wire that feeds the bulbs in the boot of the car. That will give you a short run of wiring and also very convenient. | ||

Have to agree with Omar. The auto elec that wired my camera wired it to the reverse lights - when the reverse lights come on, the camera comes on. | ||
